NA Legends Invitational Vi Gauntlet Awards
A run of six oversized illuminated Vi gauntlet trophies for the NA Legends Invitational hosted by Disguised Toast, the largest trophies Hoku Props has built.
The challenge
Make a trophy that reads from the back of the room.
The gauntlets had to be recognizably Vi at a scale larger than a torso, light up on stage, and still be articulated and wearable for the reveal.
The approach
Hoku modeled, printed, and assembled the gauntlets with integrated lighting and articulated fingers on an engraved, lit base, then finished them to read as machined metal under stage light.
