Best in Show Trophies for LeftField Media Conventions
Two years of Best in Show trophies for LeftField Media's Destination Cosplay competitions at Awesome Con, Anime NYC, Rose City Comic Con, and Anime Frontier: one trophy family of gold tailor's scissors through a ribbon spiral, with medallions for each show.

The challenge
One award, four conventions.
The trophy had to speak to the craft being judged, read on a masquerade stage, and carry a distinct identity for each of four conventions without becoming four separate designs.
The approach
Hoku designed a single scissors-and-ribbon trophy around the tools of costume making, then made the show identity a set of medallions on a textured metal base, so each convention gets its own mark on a consistent award.
