The challenge

Build two characters at human scale that hold up from any angle.

A statue on a convention floor is walked around, leaned against and photographed from every side for three days. There is no camera angle to hide behind, and both figures had to read as the same pair of characters players know from the game.

The approach

Hoku sculpted, printed, assembled and finished both figures at full scale, with the Drifter posed holding the Sirocco, then mounted them on plinths and installed them against a printed backdrop for the show.
