Secrets of the Sanctum

Secrets of the Sanctum, an interactive trivia game cabinet starring Loid and Otak, built by Hoku Props for Digital Extremes' TennoCon 2024.

The challenge

Turn two Warframe characters into a game people play.

The piece had to read instantly as Loid and Otak from across the TennoCon floor, run a trivia game players could walk up to and use, and hold up to a full convention of hands on the controls.

The approach

Hoku built a freestanding cabinet with a screen, player buttons and lit glyph panels, topped with Loid and Otak, and brought the characters to life for the TennoCon floor.
