Sirocco

A physical Sirocco, the Drifter sidearm from Warframe, built for TennoCon 2025 and later carried into the Warframe x Hoku Props Movember raffle.

The challenge

Chrome that reads as bone, and a core that lights it from inside.

The Sirocco is one continuous organic form with no flat faces to hide a seam on, and its energy core sits deep inside the frame. Every joint had to disappear into the curve, and the light had to escape through the body without flattening the polished metal around it.

The approach

Hoku modelled the pistol from the in-game asset, printed and finished it in polished chrome with aged gold accents, and ran an internal blue emitter through the open core so the glow reads from the muzzle and along the channels without washing out the surrounding surfaces.
