Our Elle Swords from Blade Runner: Black Lotus Anime for Crunchyroll are complete!
We are really pleased with how these blades turned out, and they are constructed from easy-to-find materials.
The final result is comprised of two blades with custom bear charms at the hilt with complementary sheaths.
The blades are a Bokken base made of polypropylene material. Paints don’t adhere directly to polypropylene, so we used Krylon Spray Paint Fusion and primer before coating in high gloss black spray and Createx Colors Quicksilver Chrome.
The charm and tsuba are custom models that we printed in Siraya Tche Fast Smokey Black resin and hand painted to finish. The sheath is modified and weathered and then finished in clear coat.
